Will My Student Receive a Refund?
Posted by Margaret Thomas on 25 February 2014 10:41 AM

Should a student need to withdraw from a course, the below refund policies will apply. The refund period is different for summer semester due to the shortened length of the semester.

Fall and Spring Semesters- Students will receive a refund if the course(s) are approved for withdrawal within 13 school days of the first date of class access. The student's facilitator must approve the withdrawal from the course before the student is withdrawn. Withdrawals approved beyond 13 school days of first date of class access will not receive a refund. (Note: Transfer student withdrawal and refund policy is not applicable.)

Summer Semester- Students will receive a refund if withdrawn from a course within 72 hours (excluding weekends) of the first date of class access. Facilitators do not have to approve withdraws during the summer semester. Withdrawals submitted beyond 72 hours (excluding weekends) of the first date of class access will not receive a refund.

Note:

1. Withdrawal requests must be submitted from the student account.

2. Withdrawals outside of the refund period where a refund was not applicable do not warrant re-enrollment in the course. Once withdrawn, students will not be re-enrolled.
