Will My Student Receive a Refund?
Posted by Margaret Thomas on 25 February 2014 10:41 AM

Should a student need to withdraw from a course, the below refund policies will apply. The refund period is different for summer semester due to the shortened length of the semester.

Fall and Spring Semesters- Students will receive a refund if the course(s) are approved for withdrawal within 1o school days of the date oriented. The student's facilitator must approve the withdrawal from the course before the student is withdrawn. Withdrawals approved beyond 10 school days of orientation date will not receive a refund. (Note: Transfer student withdrawal and refund policy is not applicable.)

Summer Semester- Students will receive a refund if withdrawn from a course within 3 school days (excluding weekends) of the date oriented. Facilitators do not have to approve withdraws during the summer semester. Withdrawals submitted beyond 3 school days (excluding weekends) of the orientation date will not receive a refund.

Note:

1. Withdrawal requests must be submitted from the student account.

2. Withdrawals outside of the refund period where a refund was not applicable do not warrant re-enrollment in the course. Once withdrawn, students will not be re-enrolled.
