Displaying Formulas in a Word Document on a Chromebook

This option will work if the Chromebook user is able to add an add-on or if the MathType app has been whitelisted at the local school level.

From the G Suite Marketplace, search for the MathType app.

Select Continue and then the account you are using.

Then select Allow so that the Add-On installs. Select Done and the Add-on is complete.

Select the document within the course and open it.

Once the document is visible, select Download in the upper right-hand corner of the screen.

When the download is complete, select Show In Folder.

Double-click on the document name to open it.

After opening the document, go to File and select Save as Google Docs.

The formulas will then display in the document.
