GaCR Site Coordinator Account & Requirements

To establish a Georgia Credit Recovery program at your local school, each staff member monitoring student progress must obtain a Site Coordinator account. Please go to and visit our Educator section to access the Monitor Account Request form. To obtain a Site Coordinator account, you must provide your official board of education e-mail address and a phone number.

All schools using the Georgia Credit Recovery Program must agree to the following:

  • Students attempting credit recovery must have previously failed the course.
  • Schools must agree to provide a credit recovery monitor.
  • All post tests and final exams must be proctored by the Credit Recovery monitor at their school
  • Schools will transcribe a second course grade to reflect the credit recovery score on the official high school transcript.
  • If an end-of-course assessment (EOC) is requried for a course, the student must retake the EOC Assessment at the end fo the Credit Recovery course. Students will take the EOC Assessment at their local school.
